This course focuses on the skills and knowledge also covered in the Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)™ examination.

Persuasion, emotion, and trust are critical factors for creating successful online interactions. The growing reliance on e-channels makes an engaging customer experience more important than ever. This course provides the essential knowledge to transition from being a classical usability engineer to become a complete user experience (UX) designer.

Objective

Learn to develop persuasive strategies and implement research-based methods throughout the design process to make your website more trustworthy and convincing. You can deepen relationships with your customers by learning how they make decisions that lead to conversion.

The PET Architect (2 days)

This course focuses on the skills and knowledge also covered in the Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)™ examination.

This class is the most advanced of the HFI CXA series. It reveals core insights that will enable you to structure persuasion strategies that attack whole markets, create innovative offerings, and ensure the success of applications.

Objective

Learn to build on your PET Design knowledge to become an expert in PET Structures—apply the PET perspective to strategy, innovation, and application design in order to ensure successful conversion.

Who should attend

Advanced user experience (UX) staff—engaged in the higher level activities of persuasion engineering, innovation, and strategy—should attend. Strategy, marketing, and innovation staff will also benefit, assuming they meet the prerequisites.

Omni–Channel UX Strategy and Innovation (3 days)

This course focuses on the skills and knowledge also covered in the Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)™ examination.

Be empowered to contribute to your organization's strategic planning and thinking on user-centric strategies and product innovation.

How to Support Institutionalization of a Mature UX Practice (2 days)

This course focuses on the skills and knowledge also covered in the Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)™ examination.

Institutionalization (I-19) of user experience (UX) is a must if you want to move your organization beyond an ad-hoc user-centered design approach to a sustained and managed UX practice.

Objective

Learn more about the global shift to industrial-strength UX, understand the organizational issues related to a sustainable UX practice and how to lead your UX practice to higher levels of maturity.

This course is recommended for UX staff, especially those striving to improve the maturity of their operation. It is also useful for executives and managers who would like context for management and enhancement of a UX team.
